The Department of Theatre and Dance at MSU Denver produces outstanding musicals, dramas, dance concerts, and multidisciplinary performances. The work of our theatre and dance students, faculty, and staff has earned local and regional awards. We believe that Theatre and Dance are inclusive “ensemble” experiences that provide transferable skills that will support you in a variety of professions.

Careers in Theatre and Dance come in many shapes and sizes. While our Majors and Minors receive an in-depth training and a wide variety of experience in the craft and business of Theatre and Dance, we recognize that these skills can transfer to many other disciplines.
Theatre and Dance Majors from MSU Denver have gone on to become actors/actresses, performing artists, technical directors, dance choreographers, web designers and social media managers, and many more.
